Shore excursions
When you dock at your port of call you have a few options. You
can stay on board; make your own plans at shore or go on an
organised excursion.
Every ship offers a huge range of excursions in every port, each
one designed to show you the best of what's on offer in the nearby
area. Note that shore excursions are not included in your fare,
unless you're with a luxurious all-inclusive cruise line such as
Regent Seven Seas and you do need to book these excursions
separately with your TTA Worldchoice Cruise Club agent or on board
(although places are limited, so you may be disappointed).
The nature of the shore excursions available will be dictated by
the style of your cruise line. If you go with say Fred.Olsen who
welcome an older crowd aboard, you will find walking trips and
sightseeing by car in many ports of call. Whereas if you sail with
livelier cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean or P&O Cruises,
you can go zip-wiring through Caribbean rainforests, swimming with
turtles or flight seeing in Alaska.
Your TTA Worldchoice Cruise Club agent will have full details on
the excursions available in every port, so if there's something
you've been dreaming of doing, you'll be able to reserve your place
in advance.
